Overview

Synthetic analogue of GHRH(1-29) with four substitutions for protease resistance.

The "no-DAC" form is short-acting; the with-DAC form binds albumin for a multi-day half-life.

Mechanism

Activates pituitary GHRH receptors (Gs-coupled, cAMP/PKA) to drive GH secretion while preserving somatostatin feedback.
